First, we just purchased the teak shower mat, so more later about durability.
The fit and finish is literally perfect. Very happy with the quality of build also. We both have felt a little uneasy about the slick floor in our shower and this is a wonderful solution. It solved that issue and more, it really feels good on your feet. We love it and from all appearances looks to last a long time. Recommend it, you won't be disappointed.

Fits nicely in the shower but it is very difficult to lift up or remove it if there is a need. It should have notches or holes where you could place a couple of fingers to lift it up. It also fits a couple of inches higher so be aware if you are taller.

The teak mat is nice but it came with a board broken off and the screws pulled out and bent. I had to repair it myself and not sure it’ won’t come apart again. Didn’t want the hassle of a return as we were leaving our Florida site and going home. A bit disappointed.

After living on a boat for many years, I learned how resilent teak really is. My boat had teak floors, rails and the wet cockpit was covered in teak. So, when I saw this shower mat, I jumped for joy, as much as a 75 year old can...
I installed the mat in the shower of our 27 foot Airstream and waited for my wife of 36 years to take a shower. She actually made a scream-like sound and asked when the teak showed up. We love the mat, workanship is perfect and the mat is gorgeous!

Same with everything I've bought from AirGear; nice products but they seem to take their time in getting the product shipped. You'll get a tracking # quick enough but they don't get it to the carrier for at least another business day.
I'd say, if you have it boxed up and give a tracking # at 10 am, why not get it to the carrier that same day?

I initially thought this was a bit pricey for what it was. Once you see the quality and the care that goes into making these, it is apparent that it is well worth the price! Remember that good and cheap do not go together! The quality of the teak was excellent with consistent color. The fit is spot on. This shower mat truly enhances the look of your airstream!

This teak mat was not at all what I imagined it would be. I thought it would be heavier, I thought it would make it difficult to dry the shower with it in place, I thought it would trap water underneath. I have found it to be light weight and strong due to its mesh-like construction, it easily lifts up and water does not become trapped under. It provides an enhanced appearance and a slip resistant surface. Big improvement in the looks and safety departments!

The teak mat fit well and cover the area perfectly. It has non-slip feel and is firmly flat on to the shower floor. If your tall it takes away an inch or so from the shower but workable. Very nce.

Our mat purchase was an impulse buy but immediately after putting it in we loved it and were very glad we made the purchase. After 11 months of waiting for my new Airstream, I finally picked up my 2022 25' Globetrotter. I had mentioned to the tech that did the training I had ordered the Zip Dee Chairs to match the awning. He asked if I ordered the teak shower mat. I told him I was concerned it might damage the floor of the what I assume is a fiberglass shower. I wasn't sure how weight on top of the mat would effect the floor. He advised it would not and he highly recommended it. First night of use, the shower floor was definitely slippery even though it's pretty tight in the shower.
Came home and ordered the teak shower mat and received it in time for Christmas. Camped 8 days after Christmas and must say we really enjoyed the mat. No longer slippery and certainly looks great as well.
