- The 3 most common types of aluminum rivets for interior and belly pan replacement (25 of each)

Why the kit includes drill bits in addition to rivets
Sometimes you'll need to drill out part of an old rivet or enlarge the rivet hole for a larger size rivet. Our kit includes the three drill bits sized for the rivets in the kit. These are the most common rivets used in Airstreams:
- #30 drill bit for small pop rivets found on the interior of an Airstream
- #20 drill bit for medium pop rivets used for enlarged holes
- #11 drill bit for large "button head" rivets used for belly pan repairs

This is my first rivet gun after having a dealership replace rivets as they went missing. We finished a trip over rough highways and I found two more missing so I looked on line for a rivet gun and watched a few YouTube videos on how to use this tool. I decided on this particular kit because it had a sturdy gun with a swivel head for hard to reach places, an appropriate amount and type of rivets, and a nice carrying case. It was recommended for Airstreams and came with good instructions for its use and videos. I used it as instructed and successfully replaced the missing rivets and I am confident it will be a great tool for my needs and even save me some money.

The kit is very complete. Rivet gun is heavy duty with a swivel head, which make it easier to get to some angles. Operates smoothly.
Replaced a few rivets in our Airstream and it was as easy as the directions said it would be! The tools worked perfectly.

Haven't had to use it on my Bambi yet (a good thing), but I had a repair needing attention that required using the gun at an angle that worked very well. Nice to know that I have everything in one place when needed.
I repaired a few rivets in my airstream. Worked great. The drill bits were essential.

Very easy to use (I had tried to use a cheaper model, and ended up throwing it away). Great to have common sizes as I needed two of the three types of rivets supplied.

Comes as stated. The rivet gun is heavy duty and high end compared to my old one. The only complaint is that the rivets and drill bits come in plastic zip bags. Could have easily made a durable storage container for both. Otherwise a great tool to have in case.....

Received the kit in a timely manner, seems like a quality tool. Haven’t had a chance to use it yet though. Probably could have gotten a similar setup on Amazon for less money but you pay for convenience of not having to source each item.

Easy for the interior. I also ordered an Olympic Rivet for one gone outside. The outside Olympic leaves a stem that you need to file down (or use an expensive shaving tool). Just one outside so used a file, but the tool worked fine inside and out. I appreciated the fast response to my question about the outside. I’d tried to look into it, but your help made it easy.
Took me awhile to get the hang of it. But now it works like a charm!
Have not had to use it yet, but it’s a very well put together kit with a heavy duty feeling rivet tool. Glad I bought it.

Great starter set for new airstreamers. The gun that comes with this set is top of the line! The rotating head is a must in many locations you’ll be using it in. Yes, you can find all the contents in this kit separately on-line, but throw in the handy storage bag and Air Gear has put together a kit that will serve you well for years to come.

We are very happy to have the Rivet Kit, but fortunately, we have not yet needed it! However, we have examined it, have an idea of how to use it, and we hope that eventuality is postponed for a good long while. It gives us peace of mind to have it, though!
