Customer photo review of Micro-Air EasyTouch: Coleman Mach RVC Multi Zone Replacement

For context, I wanted to replace the thermostat in our 2025 Airstream Globetrotter 30RBT. It has dual GE Profile AC units. The existing thermostat in our rig is a Coleman Mach that looks like the following (picture 1). Please be extremely clear when you are ordering through Airgear or speaking to someone. The replacement Micro-Air thermostats are labeled based on the THERMOSTAT they are replacing, NOT the type of air conditioning units you have on your rig. I was originally sent a Micro-Air thermostats for a GE Profile thermostat. It was not compatible, despite our rig having GE Profile AC units. So when Airgear says make sure your existing thermostat looks like the one Micro-Air shows online, pay attention!! First, I removed the 15 amp fuse in our rig which controlled the 12v circuit for the AC thermostat. After confirming there was no power to the existing thermostat, removal was easy; simply lift the sides to have it pop off the mounting base. Our base was held in by two screws which were easy to remove. There was no need to tape our wires as they were all self-contained in a wiring harness. Four wires into a wiring quick connector, and one single wire which controlled the furnace. The quick connector simply pulled apart, and the single wire was released by unscrewing the connection with a small Philips head screwdriver. See Picture 2. Next, I held up the new Micro-Air thermostats to wall to best understand where to mount it so that it covered the existing screw holes and the hole in the cabinet through which the wiring harness was fed. After determining where I wanted the t-stat, I marked holes for the mounting screws and checked they were level. I then screwed in the mounting screws ensuring the plastic mounting template was taught between the two screws. You need to ensure these are tight all the way to the cabinet or wall and that the lip on the template is away from the way. With that complete, I connected the four wires in the quick connector to one of the two available connections; either will work. Choose the one that best orients your wires for when you put your t-stat on the wall right-side up. As for the furnace wire, you will need to check Table 3 in the Micro-Air instructions to know which connection it goes into. For our rig, the furnace is on zone 2, which meant I needed to use the H2 connection hole. The instructions say that you need to strip the wire to 3/8 inch. I tried that and had no luck getting the wire to connect and not pull out. After stripping it to 1/2 inch, I was able to get the wire to push in and not pull out. Mounting the t-stat was as simple as aligning it right-side up over the mounting screws, pushing the unit up against the cabinet/wall, and pushing down until you feel it slide and snap over the mounting screws. I reinstalled the 15 amp fuse for the 12v circuit and saw that the unit powered on. After going through the initial setup, I realized that the zones were backwards on the t-stat; turning on Zone 1 on the t-stat actually turned on and operated Zone 2. After a google search, I saw that one way to remedy this was to cut power and do a reset. So after turning off the power to all zones, I removed the 15 amp fuse for a couple seconds, and then replaced it. I went through the setup again on the Micro-Air t-stat and tried Zone 1 again; success. Tried Zone 2, again success. A little tidying up by using one of the provided screws and plastic buttons to cover a screw hole not covered by the thermostat, and the new t-stat was installed. See Picture 3. Next I set up an account with Easy Touch in the app on my phone. Once that was complete, I was able to successfully connect to and control the t-stat in our rig from my phone. I have an iPhone and had no issues. One thing that is not covered in the Micro-Air instructions, but is in a YouTube video by Brad Driver from Thirteen Adventures… Once you are connected via Bluetooth, you should go to Settings in the app, then check for updates to the firmware. I had to download and update. That should ideally happen before you try connecting via Wi-Fi. Tests of electric heat and AC on both zones, and then furnace on Zone 2 were all successful. I’m looking forward to the functionality that this thermostat gives for remote access to control the temperature in our rig. Right now, I’m rating this product 5 stars as everything does what it says it will do. I may come back and modify that if during real-world use things don’t work as expected.

Customer photo review of AIR GEAR x Sorein Power Station, 2nd generation

Easy set up, easy breakdown, nice sturdy cart to move things around. I have the original power module, add-on inverter, two extra batteries, the rough terrain cart, and one 400w solar panel. 5,000+ kWh ready for use.

Love the fact that I can use the Sorein anywhere! I have a 19 ft Bambi and the power station allows me to upgrade my boondocking abilities with very little space for upgrades.

Store owner replied: Thanks, James! It's been a game changer for us too. You will really enjoy the silent power wherever you boondock. Happy camping!

Customer photo review of Micro-Air EasyTouch: GE Profile replacement (PROTOTYPE)

The wrong unit was sent to me to test asa prototype. I have a 2025 Airstream Globetrotter 30 RBT with dual GE profile ACs. In conversations with Rich, he pointed me to the unit that was sent to me. I’ve included pictures of my existing thermostat which is a Coleman Mach; it has five wires going into it. The prototype MicroAir unit only has inputs on the back for three wires. So now I have to go through the hassle of sending you back this unit and ordering the correct one which should have been sent in the first place.

Just back from our first use of the mini-link. It performed flawlessly. Can't really think of a better connection point than to the 7 pin connector. Power was consistently throughout the four days of use on this trip. Highly recommend.

Customer photo review of 25FB / 27FB / 30RB L-shape Airstream Teak Shower Mat

I was hesitant to order the teak shower mat as I initially thought it was expensive. I finally decided to go ahead and order it and I must say that I’m extremely impressed with the quality and fit of this mat. It transformed the plain fiberglass shower into a spa experience. The finish is amazing and adds so much to the shower. The only negative would be the loss of 3/4” of headroom in the shower but I’m 5’10 and have plenty of room. Thanks for a great product.

25FB / 27FB / 30RB L-shape Airstream Teak Shower Mat

Store owner replied: Great to hear that you're happy with our mats. They do truly transform the space. Thanks for the nice photo.

Customer photo review of Micro-Air EasyTouch: GE Profile replacement

We had an Easy Touch RV thermostat in our prior Airstream, but our 2025 Airstream TradeWind came with a GE A/C which Micro-Air hadn’t yet developed a thermostat for yet. Now they have! Easy to install, and works just as well as our previous model in our prior rig. This thermostat gives peace of mind when traveling with our dogs, knowing that we will be alerted if the temperature in the camper rises or falls too much. It is also nice on cold mornings to be able to turn the heat on from bed! So glad that we are back to having an Easy Touch again!

Customer photo review of AIR GEAR MiniLink

When our gen 3 Starlink died, we started thinking about which dish we would replace it with. One of the biggest factors that led us to get the Starlink Mini was the Air Gear MiniLink. It seemed like the perfect solution with respect to easy set up and powering of the Starlink Mini. It has not disappointed. It has been the perfect solution for dry camping and when we are at full hookups.

Store owner replied: This is great to hear, Raymond. We tried to find a dead simple solution to our own Starlink Mini power situation and the MiniLink really does the trick. Happy camping!

Customer photo review of 25FB / 27FB / 30RB L-shape Airstream Teak Shower Mat

The shower in our 2024 Airstream Trade Wind was slippery for us and at our age we needed some added safety. We purchased the teak shower mat from AirGear and we have felt very safe. Not only is it safe, it is beautiful and very well engineered.

25FB / 27FB / 30RB L-shape Airstream Teak Shower Mat

Store owner replied: Thanks for the kind words. We like the foot-gripping finish of the mat as well. It's kept us feeling secure for more than three years. Appreciate this nice photo you attached. Happy camping!

Customer photo review of AIR GEAR x Sorein Battery Module 2.4 kWh

Gas stopped working for fridge so out came the Sorein...good thing I had the second battery! Lasting about 24 hours before needing charging.

Store owner replied: Great use case, Darryl! Thanks for sharing it and happy camping.

Customer photo review of AIR GEAR x Sorein Battery Module 2.4 kWh

We went boondocking one time with the one battery and inverter set up. We did ok for 5 days with only 2 days of sun and 400watt panel. But…we wanted more ability to use more battery power so we went all in and bought two more Sorein batteries ( and their carrying cases) to get to the 7.2KwH set up. We plugged in the Airstream ( nothing running) and holy smokes we had 99 hours of power to play with!😂 Then we even ran the Air conditioning with out much loss of output hours . We can’t wait until our upcoming 2 + week boondocking trip ….which we couldn’t get into these, always booked up places, if we needed shore power pedestals ! Portability and easy set up with the Sorein opens a whole new world of places to camp!

AIR GEAR x Sorein Battery Module 2.4 kWh

Store owner replied: Amazing story! Thanks for sharing it, and the photo. With all the power you've got now, your boondocking adventures will be endless. :-)

Customer photo review of AIR GEAR Power Cord Storage Bag

The power cord bag is perfect for the Sorein adapters like the y connector, the MC4 to Anderson adapter and all the extension cords. Keeps everything g in one place. The longer AirGear bag is perfect for keeping all my knee , back and ankle braces as well as my BougeRV light tucked away and organized. These bags are really well made , heavy duty material with solid zippers . I think they have many many uses for organizing and storing things.

Customer photo review of RV Water Hose with AIR GEAR Storage Bag

After going through 2 of the cheaper white hoses decided to give this one a shot. Love how easily it goes back into storage bag. High quality fittings and material feels like it will last a long time. Also like the 5 year warranty.

Customer photo review of AIRLoq keyless entry door lock for Airstream trailers 2008-2024

After using Air Gear’s AIRloq keyless entry door lock for specific airstream models, here’s my review: It’s super handy to leave the campsite with the electronic door lock installed. You don’t need a key to lock it—just press a button, and it locks right up! When you get back to camp, simply punch in the code to unlock it. And no app on your phone either. Inside, there’s a thumb latch that works just like the original one. The build quality is great, and it’s been working perfectly without any issues after a lot of use. If the battery ever fails, you can use the provided key to open it. Plus, there’s a mini connection port so you can use a battery pack to energize it. Punch in the code. Lock opens. Another advantage to having an electronic lock is for example, should you inadvertently leave camp forgetting to retract the electric awning or some other senior moment. Just call a camp mate the code to open the lock and take care of the issue. Lock code is programmable and easily changed. Installation is a snap. Remove the OEM lock leaving the bolt in place, Install the electronic lock with provided hardware along with provided new door latch bumper. Install batteries. Program the lock code. Good to go! Just a heads-up: when you’re on the road, make sure both locks are engaged not just the electronic one. Check it out at the upcoming International 2026 rally in August!

Store owner replied: Thanks for this thorough review, Jim! We just returned from a 30-day trip and commented frequently about how great it was not to remember our keys every time we left the Airstream. Happy camping!

Customer photo review of Sorein 400 Watt Solar Panel

I have used my solar panel at home to check out with my Sorein Power station and it seems to work well. I received my first 400 watt panel from Airgear and the insulation on the cable was damaged. See first photo with exposed wiring. I contacted Airgear and they made arrangements for me to ship the panel back to them for replacement. Once they received the damaged panel they shipped a new panel. As shown in the second photo the replacement panel also had slight damage. Both panels appear to be shipped from the manufacturer with damage. I did not ask for replacement of the second panel as the insulation did not expose the wiring . I am hopeful that the damage does not get worse. I understand Airgear not wanting to send out a replacement before receiving the damaged panel but trying to work around shipments during the summer travel season can be a challenge. With exception of the cable issues the quality of the seems good. I would suggest that Airgear examine the panels prior to shipment of a replacement panel. I purchased this panel to charge my power station. It would be nice to know in the description if this panel fits in the closet of a 27’ Airstream, I inquired with Airgear Support and they did not know.

Sorein 400 Watt Solar Panel

Customer photo review of Sorein 400 Watt Solar Panel

The 400 Watt Sorein solar panel works great!!! In full late morning Minnesota sun we saw input watts as high as 385!!! Overall, the average has been 275-300 often getting well over 300 watts if in full sun. We captured 40% power in 3 hours. The portability makes it easy to go find the sun when the sun isn’t near your shaded campsite! We put the power station in the truck’s back seat, ran the extension cable through the window and set the panels up in full sun. These panels have a very nice carrying case and the whole thing fits in our wardrobe closet of our 25’ FC FBT . Looking forward to more trips with the Sorein station and panels!!

Customer photo review of AIR GEAR Rain Cover for Sorein Power Stations

We just now this month had the chance to use the rain cover and it’s been a great addition to the Sorein power station. It’s easy to connect the “skirts” with the Velcro that firmly holds them together . The front window to see the display and the vents on the sides fit perfectly and offer a lot of convenience. We keep the Sorein covered with it during light drizzles and also while it’s parked overnight in our green “yard stash” shelter pictured below. In the shelter we are able to guard against heavy rains and the rain cover assures any extra protection and peace of mind just in case. ——————————— Also a Fun fact…this shelter has a flap in the back we pass a heavy chain through and wrap it around a tree, and then back into the shelter and around the Sorein for theft prevention.

Customer photo review of AIR GEAR Carry Bag for Sorein Power Stations

The carry bags aren't a nice-to-have; they're a MUST-HAVE. Beautiful bags, but more importantly... they made toting the Sorein system so much easier. Very well constructed and totally necessary to help you manage your gear.

AIR GEAR Carry Bag for Sorein Power Stations

Store owner replied: Thanks for the shout out, Tonya! We designed the Carry Bags to make transport easier and keep the modules from getting knocked around in the truck. They are a 'must-have' for our personal Sorein system too. :-)

Customer photo review of RV Water Hose with AIR GEAR Storage Bag

After more than five years hassling with one of those garden hose style water hoses that was included with the purchase of our 23 FB, it was time for a change. I love this water line! No more kinks or trying to both coil and drain the water out without dragging the fittings through the dirt. Just hold this water line in the air with one end higher than the other and it self drains. Then it easily fits in a handsome bag that will keep everything clean in your exterior locker or bumper compartment. Very convenient.

RV Water Hose with AIR GEAR Storage Bag

Store owner replied: Thanks for such a nice review, Craig! Glad you love the hose. Once people switch, they never go back to the regular 'white water hoses.' :-) Happy camping!
