Description

Don't risk a blowout or costly damage to your RV – get a TPMS

When you're in the driver's seat, it's nearly impossible to feel low pressure

Unless you continuously monitor the tires, you’ll never know if the pressure is too low – until it results in a flat tire or blowout. At that point, the damage is often costly and extreme.

A Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) continuously monitors the air pressure and temperature in your tires, while you’re towing. When either one goes out of spec, the system alerts you so you can pull over safely and check things out.

We've recommended and used TST for 10+ years

Since 2009, it's been the most reliable TPMS on the market for RVs. With 2.2M+ sensors on the road, no other TPMS beats its track record.

Easy to set up and works as advertised. Great to have one less worry while traveling.

TST 507 Tire Pressure Monitoring System

Store owner replied: We're glad you have one less worry, too! Rich and I are big believers in TPMS. It's essential safety gear for towing. Happy travels.

Easy to set up and great for ending the constant worry about low air pressure in trailer tires and blow outs. I had a horse trailer years ago and by the time I realized a tire had blown, it was shredded.

Store owner replied: Thanks for pointing out the importance of having a TPMS, Robert. We are big advocates of this safety gear. Happy trails.

We had a blowout several years ago on I-75 going through a gap in the East Tennessee mountains. There was no safe place to put on the spare; not a good situation, but some good folks helped and we made it home. With a little advance warning, we might have been able to stop and change to the spare before the gap, where there was a wider shoulder. Hence the TST TPMS purchase. I hope we never have the opportunity to put the TST to the test — but “Forewarned is fore-armed,” so I’m glad to have it!

Store owner replied: We're glad you're traveling safer now too. Yes, that advance warning can make a difference, allowing you to seek a safe place to check things out before the situation becomes acute. Safe travels!

It was a pain to attempt setting it up. After scanning the code it was a 15 page manual. Just put the manual in the box. It seemed antiquated

Store owner replied: We're sorry this product didn't work out for you. When customers need assistance with setting up their systems, we always suggest talking to TST's customer support. They do a good job walking customers through sensor pairing over the phone. In this case, we are processing your requested refund.

Great TPMS system and is easy to setup

TST 507 Tire Pressure Monitoring System

Store owner replied: We agree and after 10+ years of using TST, we never leave home without it.

I got my system and installed it right away. It was easy, but I have to say that you need to read the directions carefully. The display is easy to read at a glance. And it's small enough that it's not in the way of other things in the truck cab.

TST 507 Tire Pressure Monitoring System

The monitoring system arrived on time. I got email updates as the package headed my way. I was able to set everything up pretty quickly. I have to admit that there was some user-error involved because I didn't read the directions carefully. So, I'd recommend reading closely. The system works just as advertised. I ended up buying a third sensor for my spare tire.

TST 507 Tire Pressure Monitoring System

Bought it because my other mono-color unit was too dim to see the numbers easily. This one looked good on advertisements, but alas, it also is very dull. Manufacturer wants photos. When we get back home, we'll follow-up, but for now, I'm kinda disappointed. Otherwise it seems to work fine.

Replaced previous TST. Thanks for programming the monitor. Easily replaced tire sensors and turned on the system. It works perfectly!!! Dr. Dean A Bard

TST 507 Tire Pressure Monitoring System

Just installed it and I'm satisfied with the install, and I look forward to our first trip with it to see how it performs.

TST 507 Tire Pressure Monitoring System

Followed directions and installed the sensor caps on both tires and one on the spare. Installed the repeater as well. Plugged the monitor into my truck. All the tire pressures were good. 5 days later we started our trip. Within 5 minutes the left tire warning went off with a 41 psi reading. Pulled over removed the sensor, hooked up the inflator which read 79 psi. Put the cap in my pocket. Within 10 minutes the other sensor went off showing 41 psi. Pulled off the road again, tire was at 79psi. Unplugged the whole system. Only sensor that was accurate was the spare which read 80 psi which is what I inflated it to 5 days ago. Not sure what I’m doing wrong but I think I just wasted a few hundred $!

Store owner replied: Hi Thomas, sorry to hear about this hassle, but rest assured you did not waste your money on the TST system. It's an excellent safety product and we use it ourselves. It sounds like your unit or sensors may need some troubleshooting. The support team at TST do a terrific job walking you through this over the phone. Our team has already left you a message with the TST support line, but I'll include it here too: 770-889-9102. I'm sure they'll help you get your system working as it should.

The TST TPMS is a quality product. However it is not engineered for the repeater to be installed on an Airstream Trade Wind with its concealed batteries. Tech support was unable to provide much assistance.

TST 507 Tire Pressure Monitoring System

After purchasing this tire monitoring system, it makes me wonder how I got by without it for the forty years I've owned Airstreams. I recently had a Good Samaritan flag me down on the interstate to tell me I had a soft tire on my trailer. Because of this Good Samaritan I was able to pull over and change the tire before it was completely flat. If not for their kindness I hate to think of the damage that may have happened to my trailer when the tire eventually came apart. I'm getting a little long in the tooth but I'm usually pretty good at installing and programing electronic gadgets. But in this case I strongly recommend you purchase from Air Gear and have them program it for you. I had trouble seeing the display in bright conditions and had to call TST customer service who helped me do the setup over the phone. However, even with their help I still missed a step that cause me some problems until Rich Luhr from Air Gear took the time to call me and help me find the error and fix it. How That's Customer Service! The TST system works great and provides piece-of-mind because you can monitor tire temps and pressures as you drive. I really like it and feel everybody should have this.

Air Gear does the research and comparisons for you. Their YouTube videos are excellent regarding the products they sell. My TPMS is exactly what I was looking for and they pre set the system for me. I am planning a cross country trip with my 23 ft Globetrotter in a couple weeks. Air Gear a must for Airstream owners

TST 507 Tire Pressure Monitoring System

This TPMS is pretty awesome. I ordered it pre programmed and that saved a lot of time and headache for me. Follow directions for install and all is good. I am using as a 4 tire system. Set monitor up on dash and it stays put. Did not need to use the suction cup mount. Pretty cool it comes with both since everyone’s set up is different. Get ya one !!!

TST 507 Tire Pressure Monitoring System

This system is easy to install and works great. Really helped to have AirGear set it up with the required tire pressure and warning psi. Recommend additional sensor for spare tire. Also, know that there is a repeater that needs installed between the sensors and the receiver.

TST 507 Tire Pressure Monitoring System

The directions could be a bit easier to follow but ultimately the sensors are easy to attach and the device synchs up readily. I have found the signal to be strong enough to capture without installing the furnished repeater but I have a smaller rig (F-150 + 22FB single axle). One thing I discovered- synching can be challenging in a crowded campground. No worries though, when you get away from all the competing signals it synchs up easily. Especially with a single axle trailer, being able to monitor the tire inflation in real-time provides a lot of peace of mind. If you get a slow leak you will know it and if it is a fast one, trust me the alarm will get your attention.
