I found it very easy to install (beware the the screws that come with it may be too long and go through the laminate). It so much better that the stock Dometic. My chief complaint is I found that the face plate temperature is not always accurate (runs a little bit high vs actual room temp), so I have too adjust the temperature settings. It a pain. I feature I would like to see is just a simple manual on/off for climate control.

I was so excited to get the new Micro Air controller. The Dometic model that was originally in our Airstream was so complicated and this one is easy to use and I love being able to monitor the temperature through Bluetooth. A great upgrade!

The stock Dometic that comes with the Airstream is TERRIBLE.
Even though rather expensive, decided to go with this one because of the overwhelming positive reviews.
Very easy to install but watch the video first.
Once installed, so much easier to use than the stock.
Only con so far is haven’t been able to update.
Need both the trailer and the app on WiFi at the same time.
So far we haven’t been anywhere that has been an option but at some point it will happen. Glad we got.

Simple installation watching the video. The functionality is much better than the original Dometic. Most important is that it provides temp info when connected to our Hotspot while away from our Airstream. This is a must when we leave our dogs behind. Very happy with our purchase.

What a game changer. Have been fighting to balance the balancing the two rooftop units with the Dometic T stat since we bought the unit in 2021. The ability to easily adjust offset thermometers temperature and buffer adjustments has made it much more comfortable and hassle free. So easy to install and the Bluetooth and WiFi connections are very stable.

First off, the customer service is exceptional. I accidentally ordered the wrong device for our trailer and I was able to easily return and get a gift card for the amount I paid to get the right device ordered. The micro - air itself is as useful as we hoped. First test was turning on the heat pumps before we arrived at the trailer to do a little work. Great product that we look forward to using for years.

Love the product BUT don’t expect any customer support. I had a simple question about setup and they refused to handle phone requests. Micro-Air will only provide email support. I spent 4 hours and 5 emails before giving up. I have owned 4 EasyStarts and 1 Micro-Air thermostat. Will I encourage any of my friends to buy their products—-NO!

I think it is a good product but it did not work with the BaseCamp. So be warned ... if you own a BaseCamp, this product will not work for you.

Plug and play installation. Easy setup and connectivity. Had some initial concerns about loss of error codes. Air Gear's Andy Silva responded to my email, explaining that the Micro-Air eliminated the need for most of old units error codes by being able to restart itself. Discovered that apparently my AS (2 a/cs) has a remote inside temperature sensor for Zone 2, which never appeared on the original thermostat but now functional. Had a little largely circular and inefficient email go around with Micro-Air's support but they were responsive as well. Great upgrade! As always, Air Gear delivers value and support!

Installation of this was super easy, just like the video. Bluetooth works well in the trailer. Haven’t been able to get the WiFi to work, and calling the manufacturer is next. Like it so far and will love it when the WiFi works!

The thermostat installed very easily, simple as plugging in a land phone line on my model. The firmware was good as delivered. I updated the firmware and liked the format of the display even more. Only drawback was with furnace only selected when I started the generator on cloudy days the heat pump came on as well putting an unwanted load on the system. Only way to resolve this issue was to select auto heat/cooling. My system has an ambient air temperature sensor that can be found in the info page. The firmware displays local temperature data from the internet location. I mostly boondock so the readout was seldom accurate. Maybe the next update will allow for users to select outside temperature source. Overall I’m very happy with this system upgrade. Would highly recommend the Micro-Air Easy Touch thermostat to all Airstream/RV owners.

It took longer to read the instructions than to do the installation. I covered the old fastener holes with Minwax Putty. I love this thermostat. I use the Bluetooth feature while in the rig and the WiFi feature via a cellular router from everywhere else. Buy one. You’ll love it like I do!

The Micro-Air Easy-Touch RV 350 Digital Thermostat is better than advertised. Easy installation/set-up literally plug and play. Once plugged in the thermostat quickly finds everything that your HVAC system has…AC, Heat Pump, EM Heat etc. Thermostat settings are easy to use….how to videos from Air Gear and Micro Air are a good resource. Bluetooth and or Wi-Fi works really well.

I am very happy that I got this thermostat. Installation was super easy, as shown in Rich's video. It is surprisingly nice to be able to monitor and control it from my cell-phone. Nearby, it connects by bluetooth. If it has a wifi connection available, I can control it from far away.
The touch-screen is bright and beautiful, but it requires significant finger pressure to operate. It's not like a cell-phone screen that senses the lightest touch. You can put the screen in night mode, and it goes completely dark. You wake it up with a touch.
This thermostat helped me solve a long-standing problem in my Airstream. The thermostat's information display showed that the temperature reading was coming from a remote sensor. My trailer, with just a single AC unit, was not supposed to have a remote sensor. I was able to track down the false sensor wire and unplug it. Problem solved!

very easy to install, took 15 minutes at most. noticed that the inside temp was way off so I adjusted the temp adjustment. im guessing that the thermostat uses an airstream thermocouple for that reading and there may be some differences in how they interpret temperature. doesn't matter, that fixed it and the thermostat works perfectly on all modes. the only thing that is remaining is the outside temperature being way off, about 5 degrees or so. I don't see a way to adjust that and im not even sure it's based on a sensor or just an internet guess. either way, it's not a big deal. I looked for an answer on the website but there's very limited info available there.

Overall we are happy with the unit, don’t let our little annoyances stop you from changing it from the Dometic on, we are happy that it’s gone!

Easy to install. To turn AC to cold mode you have to lower the upper temperature to or near the lower temperature otherwise you get the half cool icon and heat icon. It took me half a day to figure that out where I was sweating like a pig in my rv. Otherwise the thermostat is easy to use than the dumb Dometic thermostat that came with the airstream

Perhaps the easiest installation ever! Be sure to watch the video, particularly the part about taping the signal wire. Great advice! This is a massive improvement over the Dometic thermostat on many levels. Better user interface, plug-and-play, fan control actual works, looks good, is updatable, and supports connectivity. A highly recommended upgrade.

Order was processed very quickly, and received within a few days. the installation was very easy. I made a walnut mount so that I would not have to drill any new holes in the rv, and mounted the thermostat to it instead of mounting it to the wall. Setup was very easy to do, and works like a charm

Installation was very easy and straightforward. Controls both roof top units, as well as the furnace. After install, the thermostat immediately recognized our systems and allowed control without any setup.
Used on a recent eight nite trip. Worked great in the manual mode (from within the trailer), but could not figure out connecting to a new WiFi network. The setup at home was to our home network, camping I wanted to connect to a different network.
On return, I contacted thermostat manufacturer. They talked me through the process of connecting to a new network, and pointed me to a beta software update scheduled for release in the next few weeks. I installed that, and they have made some what appears to be significant interface improvements.
After returning home and during our continuing sub-freezing weather, it is nice to view the trailer's inside temp, turn on heat pumps or furnace, and make adjustments in the morning (from my bed in our home:)!
Still on a learning curve with the connectivity for remote control from cellphone after changing WiFi networks. However, I am very pleased with the operation, changing zones, and easy viewing.
So far, appears to be a great product and AS upgrade.

Replacing my Dometic thermo was a no-brainer once I saw this. Easy to install connects with an RJ45 just like the Demetic so no wiring involved. Way,way easier to operate!
